Lodging

DuBose offers a number of different styles of lodging at different price-points to suit the needs of a wide variety of groups. Our Rustic Cabins and Winterized Group Cabins offer subdivided bunk-style accommodations that are ideal for camps, youth retreats, mission trips and scouting groups. Our dormitory-style rooms in historic Claiborne Hall are ideal for most conferences and retreats. Our hotel-style rooms in newly-renovated Bishops Hall are comfortable and private, suitable for any kind of group.  Pricing depends on the size of your group and the level of service you prefer.   We have accommodated youth groups staying in the cabins for under $70 per youth for a weekend but can also offer white tablecloth dining with hotel-style private bath accommodations.  Please contact us for a quote to meet your group's needs.

Bishops Hall

Built as a hotel-style addition in 1975, Bishop's Hall is being renovated room-by-room thanks to the generosity of various donors who love and support DuBose and its mission. Bishop's Hall features 32 hotel-style rooms with one or two double beds, each with a private bathroom, tub and shower.   Available year round.

Historic Claiborne Hall

Built in the 1920's to house a girls' boarding school, Claiborne Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places. Its dormitory-style lodging facilities offer - single and double-occupancy rooms with a shared bathroom facility with showers at the end of each hall. The place seems to echo with the laughter of generations of campers and students and retreat-goers who've found a haven here. These facilities are very economical and are ideal for retreats. Available year round.

Winterized Group Cabins

These two newer cabins are larger, winterized facilities for year-round use. Each cabin sleeps 24 people - 12 people per side - with separate bathrooms with showers on each side. A cozy living area with couches separates the two sides and provides ample space for conversation and relaxation.  These cabins are ideal for inexpensive retreats, camps and mission trips.

Rustic Cabins

These traditional camp cabins are our most inexpensive lodging option. Each of the four rustic cabins offers barracks-style accommodations for up to 14 people, including a small private sleeping room for two (traditionally for the camp counselors) and a shared bathroom with showers. They are not winterized, and are available in Mid-April through Mid-October. If the walls and rafters of these cabins could talk, they'd tell marvelous stories of games, pranks, pillow-fights, and long talks by generations of campers. These cabins are perfect for scout groups, music camps and mission trip accommodations.
